So, one year in Washington (yesterday, December 1), and my anniversary was marked with - yes, those of you who know me will know my fascination with the cold, wet, white stuff - snow!

Could I ask for more?

Well, not being sick might have helped, but all is good!

Settled in Washington. Life is good, and getting better.

A few days ago, I got an email. From a service I'd subscribed to, to notify of updates on status changes on my visa for immigration to the US.

Current Status:

This case has been approved. On July 31, 2006, an approval notice was
mailed. If 30 days have passed and you have not received this notice,
you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address,
please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during business
hours.



What can I say? Yay! Still things to do, but it's going ... rather well, so far!

Seattle: been and done. To be done again, more permanently. Yay!
Scotland (via Hong Kong and London): 24 May - 7 June - visiting family, has been too long.
Vanuatu: ~ early/mid June, for a few days - work! (I do like this job!)
